Sometimes I struggle to decorate end tables or even my kitchen table without the use of a vase, flowers or a clock:) So, it’s time for me to think outside the box and find something unique to use as a centerpiece or on top of my end tables. See what you think of these!
Jars
Good stuff right here, people. You can even add chalk labels if you want. Fill them up with flowers, pebbles, candy, or anything that works as a decoration. Super cute. Maybe add something with a little color?
Watering Can
No need to just keep the watering can in the backyard anymore! Bring it into your home, clean it up and paint it if it’s dirty or beaten up, stick some flowers or other decorations in it, and you’ve got a nice and easy tabletop decoration!
Board Games
I love decorating in board games. Lots of games come with tiny pieces (like scrabble, for example) which look great when they’re organized together on your table. Add treats you’d eat with board games as well to enhance the theme!
Candles
You don’t have to light them or ever use them, but candles (and candle containers) can be awesome decoration ideas. Just make sure the color matches your room and, if you do light them, then they smell good and leave a great aroma!
Words and Letters
Add some personality and style to your tabletop with fun and creative word and letter decorations. They can be your family’s name, fun phrases, or anything else you want. Choose sizes and colors that go well with the room.
Baskets
Baskets are a great way to include lots of decorative elements in an organized way. You can use wire, metal, wood, or any other material for your basket. Depending on the time of the year, baskets can be a great way to give a touch of the season to your home.
Books
Everybody loves a good read, and books act great as decorations, as well! Choose a few good titles, make a creative looking pile, rifle the pages if need be, and let the books be art inside and out!
Spheres
This is a style that is pretty popular right now. There are all types of spheres: moss, marble, glass, etc. Choose a material that goes well in your home, find a nice tray or bowl that can hold them, and the decorating is done!
Piece of Nature
Flowers are quite a common table decoration, but expand a little bit and include any part of nature in your decor! Get glass jars or containers and fill them with pebbles, grass, plants, and anything else that you want!
Souvenirs
If you love to travel and gather tons of souvenirs but can’t seem to find places to display them, then consider putting them out as decorations! Organize them to show off all the cultural aspects and uniqueness!
Candy
While this isn’t very common in a home, it can still be used as a great decorating tool! Not only that, but if you or your guests get hungry, then there’s a quick snack right there!
