I was recently stalking a friend’s Pinterest board and got majorly distracted by a whole host of cute DIY wreath ideas! There is a fun wreath to be created for any season, occasion, or just everyday life. Here’s a list of some of my favorites:
Yarn wreath
Start with a foam wreath base from a craft store. Wrap the whole thing in yarn a time or two and then embellish with yarn designs, felt flowers, wooden letters, etc. Tutorial from In My Blessed Nest.
Ruffled wreath
A fun, fluffy, textured look made from layers of linen, denim, burlap, or other fabric. Tutorial from Pieced Pastimes.
Felt wreath
You can create one big ruffle wrapped around the wreath, or you can cut shapes out to add texture and design. Tutorial from Burlap and Blue.
Balloon wreath
Honor your family members’ birthdays by adorning your door with a wreath made from colorful balloons! Tutorial from The Thrifty Couple.
Frame wreath
You can do so many things with frames and they are easy and fun to work with. So why not make a frame-turned-wreath? Get creative with the paint and embellishments! Tutorial from DIY Inspired.
Tulle wreath
Easy to make (you just tie pieces of tulle onto a wreath base) and you can make several themed ones for different holidays. Tutorial from Nap Time Journal.
Gumdrop wreath
A wreath entirely covered with gumdrops. I think this would be adorable for Christmas. You could use candy corn for Halloween or get creative with other colorful candies! Tutorial from She Knows.
Book page wreath
Repurpose an old book by creating flowers from the pages and gluing them to a wreath base. Could do large, open flowers or small rosettes.Tutorial from By Stephanie Lynn.
