It’s hard to imagine that there could be a better use for my unfinished basement than a 1900 sq foot storage room, but there is. Much better. My weekend is planned. I’m going through bins, junking old stuff and I will have some space to play with. Check out these ideas!

What about a curiosity cave for kids? Chalkboard-
Magnets, which my kids Loooove! This is so fun. It has PVC pipes with magnets and connectors and small balls that fit inside. Kids love to create little paths for the balls with the magnets.
A basement playroom can also be created in unfinished space. Alphabet flooring, slides, and other fun sensory activities makes for a fun basement playroom without the investment of finishing it. Great idea on Bob Vila.

Add a few mirrors on the wall and create an awesome home gym! This one is from Houzz.
Needing a quiet spot for you or the hubby to work? Turn a little corner of your unfinished basement into an office. This one is from Thrifty Decor Chick. You could even add an area rug to make it a little more warm and cozy.

Making a basement playroom is a great idea. That will be great, I was just thinking how can I utilize the basement. My basement has some leakages, those need to fix. I have contacted the contractors Cleveland for basement waterproofing. I don’t want to spend more money on the basement. So it will be great to utilize it as playroom.
