When we bought our house, it was understood that we would be “eventually” remodeling the kitchen. I like what we have ok, but it is darkish and I really wanted white, light and bright. It wasn’t an option at the time, but it is in the near{ish} future. Here are some pictures of some gorgeous backsplashes that I have been collecting recently. You know, for when it is “go-time.”
Mosaic or Glass Tile.
This is so pretty. I love the mosaic ceramic or glass tiles. It’s still bright and busy, but looks great with the white counter tops.
Stones
This is also beautiful! I love tile that looks like stones. A great way to bring natural elements inside your home!
Subway Tiles
Classic white subway tile (in which I am a huge fan) and a design? This is really exquisite. But I am not the “design” type, so for me, I wouldn’t do any type of design. I get too bored with things too easily. I love the simplicity of the subway tile, though!
Red Brick
Red brick! I love it. Classic. Timeless. Stunning.
Gray Ceramic Tiles
I realize this isn’t a kitchen, but I love, love LOVE this. Gray ceramic tiles with light grout.
Blue Ceramic Tile
It is safe to assume that I just love ceramic tiles. I love the airy vibe of these. Stunning!
