You may think your slow cooker has limits to what you can do with it. Or maybe you’ve never really gotten into slow cooking at all? Either way, the hacks I’ve got for you today will change how you use yours. They make Crock Pots easier to use than ever!
Slow Cooker Hacks
Just because your Crock Pot has one cavernous space doesn’t mean you have to cook one recipe at a time. If you’re having a party, try this hack to heat two delicious dips at once. Foil is a great way to divide the cooking space in two. Use a slow cooker liner for each spot. It keeps your dips separate and provides easy clean up!
Did you know you can make your Chex Mix extra delicious if you use your slow cooker? Oh yes! I dare you to give it a try.
Warm your tortillas in your cooker. Even if you are slow-cooking beef or chicken to fill them with, it’s no problem. At the end of the cooking time, simply place a pie plate on top of the filling in your cooker. Now add the tortillas, and put the lid on for a few minutes to warm the tortillas right up.
Come home at the end of a trying day to the scent of warm, chocolatey brownies straight from the Crock Pot. {I want to, and I know you do, too!}. Add parchment paper to the slow cooker to make this hack possible. It also makes the clean up a breeze.
Simple Products to Improve Your Slow Cooking
Save yourself the hassle of cleaning your cooker every time you use it. Buy slow cooker liners {like the ones in the dip hack} at Amazon.
My favorite hack helps to eliminate the hot spots in your Crock Pot. Simply fold a foil collar and place it inside the cooker before you add the food. This means no more burned spots in your slow cooker meals.
