Today’s post will show you some amazing ways to organize your whole home. All of these 12 tips involve reusing some simple household items in some pretty genius ways. So get ready to achieve total home organization for free!
1.All you need to do is save your pickle and mayonnaise jars to make these storage canisters. If I didn’t know what they were originally, I would never guess! The lid is just painted, then a cabinet knob is glued to the top.
2. Once you finish a bottle of soda, make the bottle work for you by turning it into an organizer and dispenser for your plastic grocery bags.
3. This one is not a new idea, but if you paint the lids of baby food jars, you can make a storage solution that is actually pretty cute. It’s awesome for spices or to organize the craft room!
4. I’ve seen this idea before, and it’s still my favorite free hack for a cell phone charging station. Just use an empty baby lotion bottle.
5. Convert those empty bottles of coffee creamer into handy snack storage for the car. The kids will love them!
6. Those little mint containers are perfect for organizing your purse. They’ll hold extra change, earbuds, or keep your charging cord safe.
7. Empty toilet paper tubes will also do wonders for your home organization. I could totally use them to keep my extension cords organized! Dress them up with a little washi tape and they’re ready to use.
8. The next time you have an empty cardboard box, use it to make drawer dividers. Can you imagine how much easier it is to locate and keep track of all the items in this drawer?
9. Ever wonder how your Christmas light storage could be improved–for free? Just grab an empty cardboard box {like the box they came in!} or even a wrapping paper tube, and wrap the lights around it. Now your lights won’t get hopelessly tangled, and it’s easier to store.
10. If you like storing your condiments upside down, but hate how they won’t stay upright when you do, this is the hack for you. Just repurpose an egg carton. Cut the lid off and use the base to hold your condiments upside down and upright for an easy squeeze at a moment’s notice.
11. If you’re a mom of littles, then you are sure to have a few baby wipe containers around. Save, wash, and recover them for any number of free storage uses.
12. An empty baby wipe container is also a great way to organize feminine products. I like that it’s also discreet!
