The office is one of those areas in the house that often gets ignored as far as style goes. So chances are, yours needs a face lift. I am just finishing up my office makeover and it was really fun to look for decor ideas and projects. I still have a few finishing touches to add, so I will post the final picts of my office makeover as soon as I get the last wall done. I am in the “accent piece” stage, where I am looking for wall hanging ideas, and other diy projects to finish it off.

Make your office pretty down to the pushpins you use on your cork board. Glue cute, colorful buttons to the push pins—a small thing that’s sure to brighten your work space!
Reupholster your office chair with some fabric, a pair of pliers, and a staple gun!
Speaking of push pins, cutsie-up your corkboard by covering it in fun fabric. You can do this a magnet board too!
I think monogram letters look especially great in offices. Get one from a craft store and paint/embellish it any way you like! (One of my current favorites: covering with craft moss).
Create an office-themed wreath made from pencils, rulers, or even coloring crayons!
Large maps can make for really cool office décor. Antique and frame them.
Other great Office decor ideas:
- Upcycle a cool desk lamp. There are many ways you can upcycle boring ones, or find yourself an awesome antique or rustic one from an estate sale or thrift store.
- Cover several clipboards with cute fabric or paper and mount them on the wall for holding memos, notes, photos, etc.
- Be eco-friendly AND stylish by getting some cute wastebaskets and labeling them “paper”, “metal”, and “plastic” to make for easy recycling.
